Su Yiqing stared coldly at Shen Mianyin's back.

Mr. Su’s expression changed. "You’re right! You’re very sharp."
He immediately called security. "Stop Shen Mianyin and check everything she’s taking with her. She’s not allowed to leave with any company materials!"
Shen Mianyin packed her things, holding the cardboard box, and walked with her head held high, ignoring the pointed stares of her colleagues.
When she exited the elevator on the first floor, she was stopped by security.
"Miss Shen," the security guard said, blocking her path. "We need to check what you're carrying."
Shen Mianyin tightened her grip on the box.

So they couldn’t even let her leave without making her look this humiliating?
"I haven’t taken anything belonging to the company. These are all my personal belongings," Shen Mianyin said coldly.
"This is Mr. Su's order," the security guard said, unmoved.
"Shen Mianyin, if you really haven't taken anything from the company, just let them check," Mo Xiaoyi, who had always disliked Shen Mianyin, strutted over in her high heels, a smug look on her face.
She had never liked Shen Mianyin, but had endured it in the past due to Shen Mianyin’s status as the Su family's daughter.

More and more colleagues gathered around to watch, especially enjoying the spectacle of someone who once had everything, now falling from grace.

Mr. Su, hurriedly arriving with Su Yiqing, shouted, "Search her!"
Suddenly, Shen Mianyin flipped the box over, dumping its contents onto the floor.
Among the items scattered on the floor were a rare figurine Shen Mianyin treasured, the pen she used when she closed her first business deal, a photo of her dog she had raised since childhood—now long passed—and a photo of the Su family’s elderly couple, the grandfather and grandmother, both of whom had passed away.

Mr. Su gritted his teeth. If word of this got out, Su family’s reputation would be ruined.
"Shen Mianyin, you'd better behave yourself!" Mr. Su said viciously. "Keep your mouth shut about what happened today. Otherwise, I guarantee no company will dare hire you."
The crowd heard this and thought to themselves that Shen Mianyin had truly severed ties with the Su family—things had escalated to such an ugly scene.
"Oh, this is quite a spectacle," a voice filled with sarcasm suddenly rang out.
Everyone turned to look.
"Mr. Su," Lin Jinshen walked over and stood beside Shen Mianyin.
"Mr. Lin!" Mr. Su looked at Lin Jinshen in shock. "How did you come here?"
"Apologies, we’ve caused some trouble. I hope Mr. Lin isn't offended," Mr. Su, still thinking Lin Jinshen had come to see him, quickly said, "Mr. Lin, let others handle this. Shall we go to the office and sit down?"
"No need," Lin Jinshen replied, then turned to Shen Mianyin and asked, "Is everything sorted?"
Shen Mianyin nodded. "But how did you get here?"
"After all, it’s not every day that you resign. Shouldn’t I come to make sure no one else snatches you up?" Lin Jinshen said with a smile. "If there's nothing else, shall we head back to the company and get your onboarding sorted?"
Everyone couldn’t help but turn to look at Mr. Su again.
Wasn’t it just moments ago that Mr. Su said that if Shen Mianyin didn’t behave, he could make sure she wouldn’t be able to find a job, and no company would dare hire her?

She had already secured a new job.
